Slow, slow progress

We have made very little progress it seems this month in the whole building a house thing. BUT, we have heard that interest rates could drop once more time before the end of the year, SO, I suppose that is one positive thing we have going for us. We were hoping for a husker/housewarming party but I'm not sure we will be unpacked by then. :(

Things otherwise are going great. I am leaving tomorrow for St. Louis for a training and won't be coming back till Friday. This will be the first outing away from Lauren and I'll miss both of them. BUT, I am also looking forward to the trip with three other great coworkers. We hope to see the arch and maybe the Budweiser brewery. (oh, yea, and the conference.... :)

Here are several pics from tonight's trip to the house. It is a wonder/miracle that there haven't been any major bumps/bruises/cuts that the girls have sustained because they love to run wild, especially in the basement. The new electrical wires though have slowed them down from running from room to room as easy.
