Some noteworthy progress!
Kudos to our easygoing builder for letting us start on the basement before the rest of the house is completed. It may just be completed before the rest of the house. :)
Dave and I (mainly I) :) painted most of the day. I took the day off to watch Lauren while he was finishing a patio project here at mom and dad's and I have to say it turned out beautiful. Good job Dave (and Butch)!! Here is a picture of the finished product....aka..our rent. Bring on the firepit and the smores.
The "two twins" came over this morning to help keep "Lowlen" company while I continued to paint. Needless to say, they all three got a little dusty in the process but fun was had by all. Here are some cute pictures of them.
"PEEK"
We are working hard to get it all ready for Christmas! There is much much more room down there than upstairs so that is the goal. A big thanks to mom and dad again for keeping the girls occupied while we painted again tonight. Thanks for letting them tag along to the pumpkin patch also.

I actually have some more to post...but...this computer is in mom and dad's room and they have already gone to bed.......
and I have to admit....it's freaking me out a little in this "love shack." :)

Wow it is getting exciting, It is looking good. Dave your mother-in-law project looks awesome!
OK, first of all the patio is GORGEOUS! BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to see it in person (and consume a smore or two in the process) GOOD JOB DAVE! Secondly, love the pictures and especially love the 'to scale' family room. Seriously, who keeps graph paper laying around, anyway? It's probably ours from the 5th grade that mom's been keeping 'just in case.' :) Finally... GET OUT OF MOM AND DAD'S BEDROOM!!!! I almost laughed out loud when I read that! Eww, eww, eww. I know that you're all 'one big happy family' over there and all but that's taking it a bit far, don't you think!?!?!? :)
I was actually in their bedroom first and they usually don't go to bed until after I am in bed.
I definately wouldn't have gone in there after them.....I just needed to finish that entry.
The mother-in-law projest is awesome! Dave did a great job! thank you..thank-you. Smores will probably be this week-end with some pumpkin carving. We had lots of fun pickin gords (lots of them in the field) and pumpkins. AS FOR THE BEDROOM SCENE, I WON'T GO THERE !!!! (smile)
Nice job Dave--patio looks awesome. How cute are all of your little helpers Sarah!! Looks like things are moving along well with the house!
