The Spizzirri Rollcall

This was created to keep our families and friends updated in all of our adventures and because I need something to do with the many pictures I take.

Back on the Blog

I have totally neglected this blog lately! We have been extremely busy "house hunting."

Dave and I....(well, me more so than him) have determined that this house is just getting too small for us, SO I have been throwing around the idea of moving for Months but have just gotten very serious in the last month or two. I have gone through about every model home in the city and have looked at more floor plans than I care to see.

I don't know if we are getting any closer or not, but I am learning a HECK of a lot about different builders and what you get for your money.....or what you don't get for your money. We started off thinking forsure we wanted a 2 story, then fell in love with this ranch the other day and now having a tough time figuring anything out for certain. The only thing I know forsure is that I do not want oak cabinets anymore :) You just can't beat the space in the ranches and in particular the incredible basements.

Anyway, I have totally decluttered this house (which is not an easy task) in case we figure something out in the next month or two and put this one on the market. It is kind of sad because this house is awesome and there are so many memories BUT we will never fit and I don't want to pay a storage facility for the rest of my life. It's amazing how great your house can look when you pack all your crap away. Anyway, prayers that we can figure this whole thing out would be greatly appreciated. There are so many great builders and layouts and features it just makes the whole process very overwhelming!

Nothing else major is new here. Emma starts swimming again this week and she is thrilled with her new pink polkadot swimming suit. Lauren is taking more and more steps every day. The record set today is 10! She is so proud of herself!

Hope everyone is doing well. Can't wait for the 40's and 50's so I can start on the garage. :)

Oh give me a ranch with a full basement and I would be a happy house owner, and think of the parties we could have :)

Dave is already planning husker football game parties. this season may not include carpet or paint in the basement though! :)
As long as we have snacks we'll be ok.

I'm in for the Husker parties! I love a good game and family to get roudy with! In fact, it makes me hungry for little smokies!
