Stuff...
Lots of little stuff going on in our lives. Nothing major, which is good. Anyway, I'm really not in the mood to post on the blog tonight but I have to at some point so tonight is as good of a time as ever.
Today Emma and all the first graders had a "rainforest play." She was a "chopper." The play pretty much was about the importance of not chopping down all the trees. It was very cute of course. Thanks to dad for coming over to stay with the baby so she could still get her nap in.
Dave's new favorite activity is turkey hunting. It seems as if there is always something to shoot at. ;) Anyway, he went out very early Saturday morning and brought one home. I'm sure it won't taste like the Butterball ones that we are used to.
Marina Claire has been trying to figure out the crawling thing for a few weeks now. She finally figured it out a couple days ago. Ugh! I don't understand why we want them to crawl, it's so much more work. She is constantly headed for the end tables and any cords that are plugged in. Nevermind all the toys scattered all over the floor. I was fixing dinner the other night and heard a "thump" followed by a little cry. She had crawled through the end table and halfway out the other side. She had managed to get herself "high centered" and needed rescued. The girls initially thought it was cute but are quickly realizing also how good she can get to their things too.
That's it for tonight, I took Friday off to go to the zoo with Emma's class. She is so excited because I agreed to ride the bus. She told me to get there early so we can get the seat at the back of the bus. Yuck, I'm pretty sure I'll feel like hurling by the time we get to the zoo. :) Should be an
experience.

Cute pictures! Except for the one with the two turkeys, Emma must have been a great chopper; the girl behind her looks quite amused. :)
What cute pictures! Melissa, (baby boy) the girls & I are trying REALLY HARD to come for the 4th of July. It will depend on what Melissa's doctor tells her if she can travel. We so much would love all the little ones to know and play with each other. It would definately be a fun time.
Aunt Benita, that would be a blast if you could make it. I think we will be able to go for the weekend.
