The Spizzirri Rollcall

This was created to keep our families and friends updated in all of our adventures and because I need something to do with the many pictures I take.

yea, I know

It's been awhile since I took the time to update this thing. It is so easy to put off and now with my evening addiction to facebook, it's even more easy to put off.

It's not like I've just been sitting around though. (well, not most of the time) Not much really is new here except Marina Claire is fighting her first ear infection. She has been a bear lately but I attributed all of it to her cute little bottom teeth that are trying to come in. My more attentive husband though wasn't convinced that her attitude was all because of those two little "chicklets." So, I must "give him props" for making an appt. today and taking her in. Sure enough, the beginnings of an ear infection. Crazy enough though, she was so good tonight. I think she was relieved that someone actually paid attention to her. Sorry baby girl, atleast your dad is looking after you. :)

She is really starting to scoot around and roll everywhere. I went over some scenarios tonight with Emma and Lauren about different things. "What if Marina rolls toward the stairs?" Sweet little Lauren yelled, "grab her and yell for mom" Of course Emma responded each time with, "uh, that's easy." Of course dear Emma, you're 6.

Emma is doing ok too. She complained of an earache on Saturday so I took her in but no ear infection for her. Who knows what that was. We have really been fortunate though this winter. We are still busy with swimming on Tuesday nights. She is really progressing well and learning the backstroke. Soccer starts soon and of course that is always a lot of fun. Speaking of soccer, I signed myself up for the church's "over 30" coed league. I'm super excited about it and of course a little nervous too. Can't afford to break anything at this age. :)

Lauren is great too. She turned 3 at the end of February and really enjoyed her birthday celebrations this year although getting her to smile properly for the camera was the best intertainment. She is signed up for preschool in the fall and she couldn't be more excited.

Dave and I are great too. We have had a couple chances to go out, just the two of us, thanks to mom and dad. Spending time together without kids is huge and so, so important. Even an hour is SO enjoyable. Thanks mom and dad.

We missed a family get together last night and were so disappointed. Sorry Kaups but the get together wouldn't have been too cool with our crabby kids.

We are loving the Friday fishfrys! It is so much fun to meet families and the kids love seeing their classmates. I even "worked" this last one (security) and it was so easy of course and yet fun.

Things that aren't fun lately though are fundraisers. :( I don't mind the food ones but now we are dealing with a magazine one...yuck. If anyone needs a renewal or new subscription, let me know. This is as close as I get usually to "bothering people" about selling things. :)

No pics tonight since I am in bed and on the laptop. There aren't any pics on this thing. Hope everyone has a terriffic rest of the week.
