Hurry back Daddy!!

Dave and Andrew went out of town to guess where? yep, Minnesota. I figured a guy trip would be good so they made the trek up there for some more fishing. Dave of course can't get enough of Walleye fishing but last night he said he was ready to come home cause he misses "his girls." (I guess all four of us) :) We miss our daddy and can't wait to see him tomorrow. :)

The weekend has actually gone quicker than I thought it would. We have been extremely busy, which is a good thing when you want time to fly.

Both girls got haircuts.......Lauren for the first time. She just sat there while she got her mullett cut off. She looks much better now! A couple times, she just closed her eyes to pretend I guess that none of us were there.

We played with the "two twins" at the waterpark on Friday..... (well, I didn't actually play myself :)

Also on Friday, I picked up dad and we went to Menards to buy a playhouse/swingset. We have been looking at them and pricing them and Menards seemed to have what we are looking for. We brought home the slike and some other pieces but Menards delivered the lumber on Saturday morning EARLY! Emma keeps asking when we are going to build it. My goal is to measure and mark all of the boards tomorrow. Hurry and get back dad. Here is a pic of what it will look like someday if it is put together properly. :) :) Thank goodness the kids don't come with it. :) I have my own "monkeys" to deal with.

Saturday morning I mowed our lawn and it only took about 3 hours by the time I stopped it frequently to check on the girls. Whew! Thank goodness Dave finally spent some money on a decent mower. :)

We had a cookout and grandma's and grandpa's Saturday night and played outside way past bedtime. This morning was church and thank goodness both were very good. We then headed to grandma and grandpa's to mow and trim. I snuck to Menards again and bought a spreader and some fertilizer then came home and fertilized about half of our lawn. (I ran out and have to get more tomorrow. :( Dad is planning on coming over tomorrow sometime in the morning and I hope to get the lumber measured and marked. Then a dentist appt. for Emma around noon.

Dave should be home around 5pm. :)

That's our weekend. I can't wait to go to work on Tuesday (a little) and just relax on my butt at my desk. :)
