The Spizzirri Rollcall

This was created to keep our families and friends updated in all of our adventures and because I need something to do with the many pictures I take.

We've been back

I really don't feel like "blogging" tonight but I must since we have been back from vacation, for five days now. We, once again, had a fabulous time in Minnesota. The girls LOVE the boat rides and Dave and I love the peace and quiet of the Northwoods, good friends and great food. The girls both developed this really strange cough so we actually came back a day earlier than expected but that's ok. Of course the "Nickelodeon" rides at the Mall of America was a huge hit and of course the stay at the hotel broke up the 9 hour trip.
Here are just some of my favorites. Thanks again Rich and Karen for everything!!!!!

(Emma and Dave on her favorite ride....the log ride)

Lauren loved the tour bus ride that went "up in the sky"

it's not vacation unless you eat an ice cream cone at 8:30 at night. :)

The girls proudly sport their personalized luggage that they got from grandma and grandpa for Christmas.

our yearly stop in Akeley Minnesota (birthplace of Paul Bunyon) Lauren was not thrilled about "Paul Onion"

of course I must show you my 25" Walleye which was too big to keep and eat. (notice the "girl rag" that I am using to hold it with) YUCK!!

we bought this huge but cute hat for Lauren and didn't have to put sun lotion on her once. :)

Emma decided even though the water was very cold (the ice just went out 2 weeks ago) that she would swim in "the ocean"

Here was my biology lesson for the trip. :) The big one "on the bottom" is the female... :) and the little one is "the guy"
This happy and very busy couple were in Rich and Karen's pond and they "do it" like this for over 24 hrs. (how about that guys) ANYWAY, the line that comes from them are the eggs that she is laying. :)

Can you say "fish fry" YUM

bedtime stories...... the girls shared a room and the first night went really well, but the next two, they had to be separated for anyone to fall asleep. Then we put them together once they were asleep. :)
that's it for tonight.
