Here is a picture from happier, healthier times although Lauren doesn't look so thrilled.
Well, our day wasn't much better than it was yesterday. Lauren's poor bottom is horrible with all of the bad diapers. I heard that mixing Aquaphor lotion and maalox is a good soothing combo, so I quickly took off again to Walgreens. Good thing we don't live out in the boonies without a Walgreens. We are going to wake her about every 3 hours to check/change her diaper.
Emma's face totally broke out in hives tonight and she wouldn't stop itching them. She has never had them before so WHO KNOWS what that's all about. Then toward the end of dinner she complained that her tummy was hurting again. Dave and I had this look to eachother that cannot be put into words. So, we plugged in a video AGAIN to take her mind off of it and sat her on a sheet with her "puke bucket." She cradled it in her lap as if it were a long lost friend. LUCKILY, no puking tonight! I seriously think her tummy can't handle the amount of food it used to and she just ate too much too quickly.
Dave and I are physically doing well but just a little exhausted and crabby from the drama. I think we will both be going back to work tomorrow barring anymore crazy illnesses/outbreaks.
Luckily grandma Sutton stopped the chain of spreading "it" . She deserves not to get it since we needed her so badly at the hospital to be with Emma. Good job grandma! (you lucked out)
I better get to bed, the diaper changes will begin soon and then the alarm will go off around 5. Yuck.
