Wind and Snow

I'm really not in the blogging mood tonight but need to post some pictures.

We had some pretty crazy winds here a week ago and I looked out the window and saw this:

oops. Luckily dad and Dave were able to get it right side up the next day. Obviously it needs secured to the ground. :)

And...finally we had a decent amount of snow on Friday. The girls love to play in the snow and it was pretty nice on Saturday. We did a little sledding on the empty lot next to us. It was fun going down but about impossible trying to get back up. The powdery snow is so slippery. Anyway grandma and Emma made these snowmen (one for each girl) We laughed and laughed because they really look like "snow owls"

Well, this house is SO quiet already tonight. Emma and Lauren both have colds so they went to bed early. Marina had a big day and fell asleep in my arms just a bit ago while I was checking my facebook page. ;)

I was going through Emma's folder today to make sure there wasn't anything that needed signed or looked at before tomorrow and I found this hilarious apology note from her classmate. I'm thinking that "son srisl" is actually "sincerely" anyway, it cracked me up and I thought I would share it with you all. :)

Marina Claire got her 6 month pics taken this morning and she did too well if that's possible. I couldn't pick too easily. Here are some of my favorites....
